On Saturday we went to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. It was so fun! Kaia loved seeing and riding the "Choo-choos". We all rode the bigger train together, Mommy got to ride the little train with Kaia, and Daddy rode the carousel with Kaia. I think Daddy got the more emotionally troubling task while I only had to suffer some minor cramped discomfort on the little train. Anyway, Kaia wasn't very fond (crying and screaming... Mommy doesn't know those people sort of dislike) of the carousel at first but once she realized that it was fun to go around in circles on an up and down moving horse she couldn't stop talking about it. She actually wanted to ride it again after the second time. After all was said and done, Kaia has a new train whistle (the wooden kind) and a new train puzzle. All Mom and Dad got were ice cold lemonades. They were just Minute Maid lemonades from the fountain drink dispenser but man did they hit the spot after being out in that hot sun! Oh, and Kaia had her own lemonade too.

I have wanted to take the kids there for a long time. It looks really fun, but Corey and I may slightly be out numbered!! haha Kaia looks like she had a ton of fun! :)
Looks like Kaia had a great day at the Railroad Park. Hopefully she will truly cherish the memories with both of you on that special day with her.
that is such a fun park! we had so much fun when we went there. saturdays are so great for fun family time.
That's funny...we have totally been there. I just scrapbooked it even though it was like 3 years ago! It was fun, even though it was 118 degrees! It looks like you guys had a great time! Kaia is adorable!
I just love that park, my kids always ask to go to the Train Park. I'm glad you guys had such a good time!
