A New Baby Is On The Way

Well, as some of you may know, I am 13 weeks pregnant. We are very excited about this news. We went to the doctor yesterday and everything looks good so far. While we were there, the doctor had a hard time trying to find the baby's heartbeat, so we ended up having an ultrasound done. As the technician was doing the ultrasound we caught a glimpse of the baby, and we think that it will be a boy! We don't know for sure, but we will find out in a few more weeks. So, we just thought we should share a few of the scans that we were given yesterday. Here they are:

Kaia is growing up so fast and is becoming a very active little girl. She also has a very active imagination. Here are just a few pictures of her latest antics.

She got a pair of fake vampire teeth from Peter Piper Pizza, and that led to some interesting ideas:

Room Makeover

So we finally decided it was time to add some color to our lives, specifically in the bedroom...
Okay, not THAT kind of color.
Anyway, we decided to paint our bedroom, and put up some blinds. It took us a few days to get it all done, but we're very happy with how it turned out. Here are some pictures for you to see.

How you know that your child is truly a Monson...

She is not even 2 and a half years old, and she is already quoting her favorite movies.

I must say that she has actually been doing this for a while. It's really quite funny (and cute) to watch certain movies with her, specifically Dinosaur (the Disney movie) and Enchanted. She will quote the words that she knows as the people are saying them in the movie. And as for Enchanted, she even does the same dance moves and motions as Giselle when she's singing Happy Working Song. It's hilarious to see.
